Are the antenna on Nadia's head her equivalent of a lateral line, like many fish have? Or are they something more mammalian?

Yes, she's got dialogue. Eventhough she rarely speaks with anyone but Rhaia. Or when she really has to. ^^; Short, straight and direct sentences.
She will spend most of the time just staring at people, making them feel uncomfortable, though. :3 Or just plain out ignore them.

Barely no expressions at all. Maybe the occasional smile when she's alone with Rhaia.
But she's a brutal fighter, so I guess she can "express" herself that way.
