There is alot of things that I find fascinating and interesting in this world.
Aside from art, movies and music, I just love... Science. Not just Science-Fiction, but Science-Fact.
Discussing String-Theories and the mechanics behind Quantum-Physics boggles my mind and tickles my brain in a doo-goody way. I only understand like a percentage of the things I hear, but I love just listening to it or read about it.
The picture grew from my interests and my questions.
Consider a human-being who's been unbound from all laws of physics and possessed the ability to alter any said law, in any way she wished... There's nothing above her in terms of hierarchy or power, nothing to tell her what is right or what is wrong. She would answer to noone for her actions but herself.
What would she become?
What should her point in life be? Should she be inclined to "With great power comes great responsibility"?
If so: Why? If she declines, noone has the power to force her.
If she decides to punish human-kind for their negligence against the planet they inhabit, would she be wrong?
If she lets herself exist only by the thought of wanting to be alive, by what standards or morale would/could force her to do anything? She is in no position to help, punish or ignore anything by default.
Why should she have to fill a role, and who would she be?
I find it very interesting to think about it since I dont know the answers myself. :3
(and uh... Please dont turn this into a religious debate. I just want thoughts of morale. Morale is something we humans came up with, but people see it differently. Its fascinating.)
P.S
Lets just assume the person in question's name is Arietta. :3
P.S 2
To answer a question in advance, due to the question Ive already got: Its all photoshop. No 3D involved in the planet-making.
And yeah, I guess it all would fit better under philosophy.
But creating her own laws is a pretty serious thing to do, right? And what if she's already happy as things are? How would people react to a person who'd rather surf the skies than helping out with terrorism and global heating?
I didnt want them too look too threatening or anything. Rather a more neutral "I dont really know what to make of this, but Im still curious if it could break" kind of look. ^^
It'd all be up to the kind of person they are. Following general actions, someone beyond any punishment would do whatever brings them most enjoyment, so lets all hope Arietta's overjoyed by helping people. Heh

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
